Craft Shop

The goal of Senior Opportunities Services is to help older adults lead a more useful life, thereby restoring dignity and a sense of purpose.  However, many elderly are unable to seek employment outside the home.  Among the ranks of these are some who enjoy making handcrafted articles.

To help these gifted people.  Senior Opportunities Services (SOS) operate a Craft Shop at Cutter's Corner.  Handmade items are accepted 'on consignment', and displayed in the shop.  Selling price is set by the crafter.

The shop is always full of beautiful expertly-made items.  With  over 150 seniors involved, the different kinds of articles are almost endless.  Artwork, clothing, needlework, jewelry, furniture, toys, woodwork, decorations; these are only a few of the many categories involved.

Most of our regular customers make our Craft Shop their first stop when looking for a gift for any occasion.  Handmade gifts are usually much appreciated since they are often unique, one of a kind items.  So, whether it be for Christmas, birthday, wedding, or any one of many other occasions, the Craft Shop at Cutter's Corner is the place to shop.  And there are gifts for all ages.

The suppliers to the shop are alert to recognize the approach of special days and seasons.  So, at Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day, etc., you will find many special items appropriate to that occasion.  We are proud of the work by our "crafty" seniors.  We invite you to come in and browse, so we may share our joy with you.  Stop by the Craft Shop at 401 South 4th St., Richmond, IN.
